{Giveaway} The Immortals by Tori Eversmann

giveaway giveaway

Hey ya’ll! Today,Tori Eversmann, author of THE IMMORTALS, has generously agreed to let Traveling With T host a giveaway.

Yay!

Who is Tori Eversmann, you ask? Have you ever read or watched the movie BLACK HAWK DOWN? If you have, the lead character is inspired by the real-life man- Matthew Eversmann. THE IMMORTALS, Tori’s book, while fiction- is inspired by her time as an Army wife- and the letters that Matt and Tori used to communicate.

Before we get into the giveaway, though, I have some more news. Behind the scenes, for the last few weeks, I have been working on a project for Tori- to help celebrate THE IMMORTALS being released on November 11th (Veterans Day). I would like to give a huge shout-out to some book bloggers who are taking part in Tori’s guest post tour ( beginning November 9th and naturally, hosting giveaways of their own- hint, hint for my giveaway lovers here!)

Special thanks goes to: Silver’s Reviews, The Novel Life, The Book Junkie, Posting for Now, BookFan, and What Is That Book About. You are all rock stars in my book.

Now on to the giveaway! Continue reading

A Likely Story

Lindsey Norris, Briar Creek librarian, is having a normal day. Some book talk, the craft-afternoon group being there, and talk of her love life. All in all, a normal day for Miss Lindsey.

When it’s time to take some books out to one of the islands for Stewart Rosen- Lindsey’s ex, Sully, gladly runs her out there- hoping to spend a little time talking with her.

When they arrive at the island, though, something is amiss. Stewart is not there to greet them. This causes both Lindsey and Sully some alarm- especially Sully, because he knows from first hand experience how protective the brothers are of the island and how they set traps for trespassers. My sweet niece will be tricking and treating it up at her other grandmother’s house- so I’m going to miss my caped crime fighter buddy! Continue reading

Angel Killer

Summary from Goodreads:

FBI agent Jessica Blackwood believes she’s left her complicated life as a gifted magician behind her . . . until a killer with seemingly supernatural powers puts her talents to the ultimate test.

A hacker who identifies himself only as “Warlock” brings down the FBI’s website and posts a code in its place that leads to a Michigan cemetery, where a dead girl is discovered rising from the ground . . . as if she tried to crawl out of her own grave.

Born into a dynasty of illusionists, Jessica Blackwood is destined to become its next star—until she turns her back on her troubled family to begin a new life in law enforcement. But FBI consultant Dr. Jeffrey Ailes’s discovery of an old magic magazine will turn Jessica’s world upside down. Faced with a crime that appears beyond explanation, Ailes has nothing to lose—and everything to gain—by taking a chance on an agent raised in a world devoted to achieving the seemingly impossible.

The body in the cemetery is only the first in the Warlock’s series of dark miracles. Thrust into the media spotlight, with time ticking away until the next crime, can Jessica confront her past to stop a depraved killer? If she can’t, she may become his next victim.
