It’s Friday and I am so glad. Miss A, my adorable niece is coming to visit tomorrow and I have a stack of books to read. Life is good. Continue reading

Futuristic Friday: Find Your Great New Reads!
Well, it’s that time again- the time where me and Katie from @ Doing Dewey reveal the books that we are chomping at the bit to read over the next 3 months! Futuristic Friday was a feature dreamed up by Traveling With T one day- and Katie, so enthusiastically, agreed to co-host this feature with me. Working with Katie has been a dream- while we have similar taste in reading (you’ll see that in the July we have some overlapping picks!), but Katie always picks some great books that I was not aware of- which I totally love! Identity by Ingrid Thoft
This book was sent to Traveling With T in exchange for a fair review.
Identity
It’s been a couple of months since Fina’s last big case- and if anyone deserves a break- it’s Fina. But a break is not in store. When Carl, Fina’s dad and boss, calls her to the firm- she goes. When she gets there, she finds herself in the middle of a case that she’d rather not be involved with- actually, she’d rather be doing anything else, but this case. Continue reading
THE FEVER by Megan Abbot- Blog Tour
So excuse me while I dance around the house a bit, but me, yes, me- aka Traveling With T was asked to be a part of THE FEVER tour! Listen- it’s not a big secret that I really enjoyed the heck out of DARE ME by Megan- her take on cheerleaders was so great and she created a character, Beth, that still lingers with me (Think a younger Amy Dunne from Gone Girl and you have an idea of Beth!) When I saw THE FEVER for request at Netgalley, I clicked that request button like a mad woman blogger! My review will be posted in the next couple of weeks- today is all about THE QUESTION that Megan (yes, Megan!!) is answering at Traveling With T! Continue reading

My review will be posted later today, but I wanted you, my readers, to be able to enjoy the interview before reading my review!

Bloggers LOVE Belles… Sassy Belles!
Last summer, when Beth Albright’s debut, THE SASSY BELLES, made Deep South Magazine’s Summer Reading List- I had a good feeling about Beth. As bookish fate would happen, I was not the only one who felt this way- I found 2 other bloggers who adore Beth and her Sassy Belles just as much! Over the past few months, as we each have read the trilogy and the follow up novella- tweets and emails have been flying back and forth over the interwebs about how much we like this character, or how this character has changed so much, or how sweet some of the scenes in the books are! Continue reading
Seeing Karen White, author of A Long Time Gone, at TurnRow Books
Yesterday, I went to one of the local indies near me to see the ever so charming Karen White read from her newest book, A Long Time Gone. Having had the pleasure of seeing Karen at Lemuria Books 2 years ago, I knew I was in for a treat- but when her cousins came in to TurnRow, all bubbling over with excitement at seeing Karen- that made me smile even more. Family is so important- and you could tell that Karen and her family dearly love one another! Continue reading
