I think I’ll just say that it’s been a week and just say that for now……. Continue reading
Well last weekend I spent the weekend in Jackson for the Sweet Potato Queen weekend. I laughed, I dressed up, I played, my picture was posted in the Clarion Ledger, I saw friends I only see 1x a year, I ate good food, and I just had fun. Continue reading

Well… this week has not been a good week. Sir Thomas, one of my beloved cats, has been missing since last Friday (last seen at Friday 10pm). I’ve been worried, but as the days go by, I get increasingly worried. This is not a cat that enjoys being away from his creature comforts (fluffy blankets, easily accessible food and water, and me) for very long. I still fervently hope that he is making his way home to me and that he will have quite the adventure to meow about. Accepting all the good vibes for his safe return. Continue reading
Well, the cold weather earlier this week was no fun. All I wanted to do was climb under a bunch of blankets, with hot chocolate, a good book and a cat or 2 snuggled beside me.

It’s Friday night and I’m washing clothes & dishes and blogging and making to-do lists with my trusty May Designs notebook and fave pens (Staedtler Triplus Fineliner- just in case you are curious!)
Do I know how to party or what? *giggles* Continue reading
I went out last Saturday and spent the whole day doing what I wanted to do. I got a pedi, had lunch at Half-Shell Oyster House, took a long walk through Sam’s Club (IDK why I love that place, but I do!) and then ended the night with Zaxby’s (I also picked up some sushi to take home for next day!)
Blog life and real life was waiting on me when I got back, but it was nice to be away for the day…… Continue reading
Since January felt like one big long string of Monday’s, I was ready for February to get here. I’ve still got a lingering cough and I think my cats are getting concerned because every time I cough- they look at me with panic in their eyes. Or maybe they’ve realized that I’m the one that keeps the never ending supply of wet food at night and crunchy food all day long, fresh water in the bowl and clean beds and towels to lay around on and don’t want the gravy train to come to an end- hence the worry about the cough. Continue reading
All I can say is thank goodness that January is over. It’s been a long month- I had a stomach bug/cold last weekend and I’ve been busy getting my mom to a variety of doctor appointments. I’m hoping February will be a healthy month. Continue reading
