Heidi Wood- some might call her a tree-hugger. She recycles, she takes in stray cats, she works for a non-profit and cares deeply about providing resources to people who are leaving other countries to come to America. In other words… Heidi personifies the phrase “Be the change you want to see in the world”.
One day, a cold and rainy day- Heidi sees a teenager with a baby. Something about this teenager keeps Heidi looking- maybe it’s because she can tell the girl is homeless. Because her new hubby, Bradley Cole (and one she has no intention of ever making an ex, let alone an ex-ex hubby!) is the new General Manager of the Bellissimo Casino- and it’s been decided that it will be better for them to stay on-site for the next few months while some casino-expanding is going on in other locales.

Hello readers of Traveling With T! If you’ve been sticking around for a while- you know that I like a funny book thrown in amongst my Southern Lit, psychological thrillers, and other reads. I can usually count on Henery Press for tickling my funny bone with LynDee Walker or Phoebe Fox reads- but my original funny girl was Stephanie Plum. Wise-cracking, Jersey-talking, Tastykake loving- Stephanie Plum.
A few months ago, though, I was introduced to someone who might fill my Stephanie Plum quota when I need a funny book- and I’ve already read the latest Plum.
