#AMonthOfFaves 2019: Fave Blog Posts/Essential Programs for Blogging!

Hi ya’ll- sorry, I’m a day late with this post. The nieces have been at my house since Friday (they left yesterday) and I spent 99% of the time getting DVD’s to watch, trying to get them to quit arguing over a phone, and re-capping magic markers while the budding artists colored. I’m tired. Be sure and check out Girlxoxo’s post- because she ALWAYS has some great programs that make blogging easier.

Today’s Prompt:

MON. | Dec. 23 – #AMonthofFaves Blog Posts This Year – Tell us how you blogged – most popular (and/or favorite) blog posts for the year, or each month, did you try anything new on your blog this year, did you make blogging goals – how did you do? What are the essential programs, apps, plugins, websites you use? What’s your blogging routine, any blogs on blogging that you follow, blog tips you learned and used this year.

Fave blog posts:

Some (NOT ALL OF THE BOOKS!)  Books I enjoyed reading and blogging about: The Family Upstairs, My Favorite Half-Night Stand, A Wedding in December, 29 Seconds, The Retreat.

Some special blog posts I enjoyed writing this year: Bouchercon 2019, Cover Reveal of Feels Like Falling, and The Baby-Sitters Club books on Audible.

Essential Programs:

Canva. I love Canva. I make my graphics, jazz up my photos in there, and because I use the Canva for Work version- I have at my fingertips a lot of stock photo options just in case I need that!

Google Docs. Spreadsheets, making lists for my blog.

Erin Condren Life Planner. I use my (mostly) for my blog and it helps keep my blog life in order. Be prepared for some IG posts for 2020 as I share how I use my EC planner.

May Designs Notebooks. I love how I can slip these in my purse and when I’m on the road or waiting somewhere- I can easily jot down some ideas or do a quick planning session.

Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens– these pens are the best and I will cut you if you take them from my desk.

Buffer. How I keep my Twitter feed mixed up with my posts, posts from friends blogs, etc. Only teensy complaint- I wish they would let you add more than 15 websites to your RSS feed.

*What do you use?*
