So, the darling Miss A will be in town all weekend- which means I will be watching Disney movies, dancing to Taylor Swift, and just spending time with The A!
1. Deep South Magazine and their #literaryfriday: Chock full of good news as always- news about the SOIL launch party, upcoming festivals, and much more.
2. Sarah’s Book Shelves had a great post this week: Great Books Under 300 Pages!
3. The Gilmore Guide to Books incorporates a Seinfeld-ism to her round-up of reviews- It’s Not You, It’s Me!
4. Katherine Scott Jones reviews THE MAGICIAN’S LIE and makes an interesting observation about the cover…
5. OnDBookshelf reviews MY SUNSHINE AWAY. Did the book measure up to the hype? Read on for her thoughtful review.
6. Pat @ Posting for Now reviews a book called CEMETERY GIRL by David Bell.
7. Katherine Scott Jones reviews ANOTHER NIGHT, ANOTHER DAY by Sarah Rayner.
8. GIVEAWAYS: There are quite a few- some are ending pretty fast- so if you want to win, don’t hesitate! Bookfan is giving away A SMALL INDISCRETION by Jan Ellison, Karen’s Korner is giving away SPLINTERS OF LIGHT by Rachael Herron, Leah’s Thoughts is giving away SPLINTERS OF LIGHT as well, The Book Wheel is giving away THE UNRAVELING OF MERCY LOUIS by Keija Parssinen, and I’m giving away DEAR CAROLINA by Kristy Woodson Harvey and A FIREPROOF HOME FOR THE BRIDE by Amy Scheibe,
Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,

Great links here. Thanks for including my post. Hope you have a great weekend
Thanks! And you are welcome! Girl, I am TIRED- I’ve been chasing a 15 month old all weekend long π We’ve been playing all weekend π
Have fun being a kid again this weekend! Thanks for sharing my review (even though we didn’t see eye to eye on this book) π
Thanks so much! That is what I love about book blogging- getting to see what other people think of books! It’s so fun to read different opinions!
Thanks for the shout-out! I need to check out OnDBookshelf’s My Sunshine Away review. I read it before all the bloggers were raving about it, so I kind of went into it without the hype. I mean, there was the marketing hype of “best debut of the year”, etc, but not the hype from bloggers who have actually read the book.
OnDBookshelf’s review was well-written- and hit the nail on the head with some rumblings I heard about the main character when I was at the book signing!
I love reading a book before the hype happens! π
Lots of giveaways! Thanks for the shoutout.
You are welcome!!! π Happy to help!
Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned π Thanks for the mention!
You are so welcome! π Happy to give you a shout-out! And, yes! It was a fun weekend- but I’m tired from chasing a 15 month old π
Great links! I loved Sarah’s post, too.
Thanks so much!
