Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

A few years ago I was at Book Expo waiting to see Kate White and she was at a table with other authors. One of them was Karin Slaughter- who I did not know much about at the time. After reading Pretty Girls, I knew I liked her writing- but her books are pretty graphic so I can’t just plow through her series like I want to (I gotta give my brain some time off from the dark world of Slaughter.)

In cleaning out some shelves, I found this book and I started reading and then bought the other 5 books in the Grant County series (and got a coupon for another Karin Slaughter book- which I used to buy book 1 in Will Trent series!)

What I Liked:

The cover. So interesting.

Grant County. It’s got a familiar feel to it and I can see it it my mind.

Who the bad person was. How deliciously disturbing,

Bottom line: Karin Slaughter is not afraid to go to the dark places in the world. Her books are good (if you like dark books) and the character development is crazy good.
