Brimstone Hollow
Summary: Following her powerful debut in The Witch’s Orchard, private investigator Annie Gore returns in Brimstone Hollow, bringing readers back to the mountains that author Archer Sullivan, a ninth generation Appalachian, knows so well.
Traveling With T’s Thoughts:
After loving The Witch’s Orchard last year, I was so ready for Brimstone Hollow that I read it within weeks of getting a Netgalley copy.
Archer Sullivan can tell a tale!
What I liked:
The cover. So green. So mysterious!
The interactions between Katie May and Annie Gore. They had a chemistry together that was great because while they did not have the exact same childhoods, they had enough things in common to really forge a bond of sorts.
The juxtaposition of religious ways vs the idea of snake handling preachers. Religion and snake handling preachers is def something you could do a deep dive into!
Bottom line: I loved this book and cannot wait for book 3! (Please say there will be a book 3!)
