Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

After finally reading The Woman in Cabin 10- I was eager to check out some more of Ruth’s books. A trip to Bouchercon and Half Price Books in Dallas and I was able to score 2 of her hardcover books for a pretty sweet deal.

I buddy read this with Candice of CozyBookWormSociety and had a blast talking out things with her about the book.

 

What I liked:

The cover. It was creepy and fitted the book’s tone perfectly.

The mystery. It had some red herrings that I loved.

That Hal read tarot cards. I love details like that.

 

Bottom line: While The Death of Mrs. Westaway does start off a bit slow ( I felt the same way about The Woman in Cabin 10- so that may just be a thing about Ruth Ware books), I encourage you to stick with it because I think it ended up being a good read.
