Book Talk With R & T: Talking Spoilers for THOSE GIRLS by Chevy Stevens

Book Talk With R and T Spoilers for Those Girls

As the week of Book Talk With R & T draws to a close- we’re ending it with a bang- talking spoilers! Don’t forget to check out Ivory Owl Reviews to see what she says!

If you have not read THOSE GIRLS- stop here. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Let me just start this off by saying- if you are a neighbor, family friend, etc who suspects that there is trouble in the house- do something. Don’t let children/teens live in a house where a form of abuse is happening.

*Stepping off soapbox*

Of course, if the neighbors had reported the girl’s dad- then THOSE GIRLS would not have happened. So, moving on…

If you by some means manage to escape one form of hell- when 2 boys drive up behind you and seem to be toooooooooooo willing to help- survey says “Run, don’t walk!”

Again- we wouldn’t have had a book if the sisters had abided by T’s rules.

SOOOOOOOOOOO…. When you’ve finally escaped, moved on and years have passed- do you go back to the town where you were raped and beaten for fun? Um no. You don’t. Not even to avenge the crime.

But naturally, all the women end back in this town- where life ended and began for respective characters. (This is the point that my hands are over my eyes in a scary movie).

AND YOU DON’T cut the GPS tracker off your phone. Never. Ever. You never know when Mommy needs to find you because you have gotten yourself in an incredibly unsafe situation!!!!!!!!!!

In related news-picking up a hitchhiker is also a bad move.

And there you have it- everything  that shouldn’t have happened in THOSE GIRLS (if this was real-life and you know.. not fiction)

Rhiannon and I hope you have enjoyed the week of Book Talk With R & T- we’ll be back in the coming months (we’re sorting out our next selection!)

Happy Reading!
