#AMonthOfFaves: An Underrated Author That Deserves More Buzz

#AMonthOfFaves  over at GirlXoXo: I’m almost a week late with this post, but better late than never (right?)

The prompt for Friday, December 9th was Underrated Books or items that Deserve More Buzz. However, I’m changing the prompt to  Underrated Author That Deserves More Buzz.

Charlie Donlea! I’m not saying that he’s necessarily underrated but I don’t think he’s getting quite the mainstream buzz that he should be getting.

The first Charlie Donlea book I read was The Girl Who Was Taken. A few months later, I listened to Twenty Years Later and liked it so much, that I decided to keep my eye out for more books by him. Then I found Don’t Believe It and Summit Lake. And I absolutely can’t wait to check out Charlie’s 2023 book, Those Empty Eyes.

What do I like so much about Charlie Donlea books? They are quick reads, easy to get sucked into. Red herrings and twists make the pages flip faster.

So, tell me this… have you read a Charlie Donlea book before or will you be reading one now?

Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,

T @ Traveling With T
