Literary Friday ya’ll..

Another week is coming to an end and it’s time for the weekend- and while Labor Day weekend will be quieter than normal this time (I think), I’m going to just focus on swimming and reading. And enjoying the quiet! And guzzling water from my Salty Hair Don’t Care glass 🙂

So, so excited to be revealing the cover for one of my fave authors new book- A Summer to Remember by @erikamontgomeryauthor. This book will be published by @stmartinspress on 5.11.2021 & is available for pre-order now! . . Ya’ll- I was first introduced to Erika’s writing when she was writing under the name of Erika Marks ( and Little Gale Gumbo remains a fave of mine years later & helped cement a friendship with the super fab Erin from @deepsouthmag). So when Erika contacted me & told me she had a new book- I have been over the moon 🌙 excited for DAYS. . . About A Summer To Remember: Memories define who we are and where we belong— revealing a past that unlocks the present, of buried family secrets, betrayals between lovers, and bonds between friends. And for one woman, a path to self-discovery, the meaning of home, and the magic of true love. For thirty-year-old Frankie Simon, selling movie memorabilia in the shop she opened with her late mother on Hollywood Boulevard is more than just her livelihood—it’s an enduring connection to the only family she has ever known. But when a mysterious package arrives containing a photograph of her mother and famous movie stars Glory Cartwright and her husband at a coastal film festival the year before Frankie’s birth, her life begins to unravel in ways unimaginable. Experience the salty breeze of a Cape Cod summer as it sweeps through this sparkling, romantic, and timeless debut novel tinged with a love of old Hollywood. . . Ok doesn’t that sound fantastic?! It releases on 5.11.2021 & I’m on pins & needles to get a copy! . . Pre-order link is in my bio: #linkinbio . . #travelingwithtreads #genxbookstagrammers #oneworldreaders #mississippibookstagrammers #msbookstagrammers #readreadread📚 #booksofinstagram #booksofinsta #coverreveal #asummertoremember #erikamontgomery #asummertorememberbyerikamontgomery
