Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

If you haven’t read any of Liz Talbot series, I highly recommend you start reading, but don’t start with this one- because while Susan does a pretty good job of refreshing readers on previous book issues- there is simply much too much backstory in this series for you to fully appreciate book 9 if you have not read 1-8.

 

What I Liked:

That cover! I love Susan’s covers. So cute!

Liz and Nate and their chemistry- they have fun together. Work hard, play hard. I do think both Liz and Nate were being a bit more cautious with each other at times in this book- but book 8 put them in some tense situations- so that was cool with me.

The 2 mysteries in this book- it was a 2 for 1 deal on cookies. Enjoyed both mysteries and how they played off one another.

 

On a more personal note about this series- Book 9 for long time fans of Liz, Nate and Colleen is going to put you through the wringer. It’s growth, though, and that is a good thing. While I have NO idea what Susan is planning to do next- I feel that she may be paving the road for a good-bye to this series {again, NOT a bad thing because I hate when authors just let series drag on till they don’t even resemble the series you loved} (Again- I don’t think this series is suffering from that- I just do wonder how many more books will be happening.)

 

Bottom line: Just go get this book. It’s def worth reading!
