Literary Friday ya’ll….

Well, it’s been forever since I blogged. Book Expo was fun and I got some great books and had a nice time in NYC ( a recap to come… at some point!)

1. In good family news, my mom got some wonderful news from the doctor- no cancer in her lymph nodes and no more radiation and she won’t have to have chemo. We go to doctor next week to get started on a medicine that she will have to take for the next 5-10 years, but all in all, things are going good and relief is felt throughout the house. And another gentle reminder: Schedule your mammogram 🙂

2. One my #FridayReads:

3. Walking on The High Line in NYC (and let it be known that I will rarely pass up an opportunity for a selfie 🙂

4. Saw Frozen on Broadway and it was AMAZING. When Elsa reveals her sparkling dress during Let It Go- I got a teeny bit emotional- the music was swelling and this gorgeous dress was revealed and it was SO good.

5. Hanging out with new and old friends at Book Expo is half the fun of going 🙂

6. My Book Expo stack…

What are you reading and doing this weekend? The pool and books are calling my name 🙂

Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,

T @ Traveling With T

    • I am so excited about her news. We go this week to meet with a doctor about the meds she’ll have to take and I’m eager to hear what they will say. I am also VERY excited about the books I picked up at Expo. I’ve got some great reading ahead of me 🙂

    • Thank you SO much!!! It’s been a whirlwind here- I got back from Expo, then we went to the doctor on the 3rd, then she heard about her ONCO score, then new appointments scheduled!!!!!

Also, now Jerry is missing 😦 😦 First, Sir Thomas and now Jerry. 😦
