I’ve always known that book people have hearts of gold. The friends I’ve made through blogging & bookstagramming- well, I wouldn’t trade them for a pot of gold. . . Some of you know from my blog posts that my mom had back surgery earlier this year. While she was recovering from her surgery, she decided to take care of some doctor appointments that she’d been neglecting ( specifically a mammogram!) To make a long story short, after many doctor visits & a biopsy- she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. But because she went & had a mammogram- It was caught early & the doctors have given her a very good prognosis. 🙌❤️🙌❤️ . . The last few weeks have been kinda crazy- going to doctors, getting scheduled for surgery, & spending time reading about breast cancer- recovery time, options & more. And the next several weeks will be more the same. I’m feeling confident that my mom has a great doctor & the plan they have for beating breast cancer sounds like a winner. . . Thank you Katie @doingdewey for being a great friend & for offering your knowledge base about genes & genetics to me. ❤️ . . Lastly: ladies, don’t forget to get your mammograms. My mom’s doctors have repeatedly reminded me of how important they will be for me because of family history & I’m reminding you: Take care of yourself & the girls 😉❤️ . . And if you feel like sending good vibes- we are accepting them all! 💛❤️😀😍
