Literary Friday ya’ll….

Well, it’s the day after Thanksgiving and I’m still stuffed. I did a teensy bit of online shopping today, but mostly it’s been a day of Law and Order and playing with the kitty cats.

What have you been doing?

1. ICYMI at Traveling With T: Sometimes I Lie and One Day in December.

2. I finished Sometimes I Lie recently- and I LOVED it.

3. December 3rd begins A Month of Faves. Are you ready to join in?

4.  Have you read One Day in December? It is SO good!

5.  Reviews from around the web: Suzy Approved reviews One Good Mama Bone, Jenn  Tarheel Reader reviews One Day in December, Orange County Readers reviewed Ghosted, Audio Killed The Bookmark reviewed One Day in December, Dressed To Read reviews One Day In December, PHDiva reviews One Good Day in December, & Jenn Tarheel Reader reviews The World Breaks Everyone.

6. My #FridayReads: What are you reading?

7.  How close are you to meeting your 2018 Goodreads Reading Goal? I’m 5 books away 🙂

* What books are you picking up today on Black Friday?*

Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,

I’m going to try to participate in A Month of Faves. I’ve always enjoyed it!

I’m 14 books away from my reading goal, but I originally set it to 52 and met that, so if I don’t make the second goal I feel okay about that. Honestly, things were so skimpy for me this year that I’m surprised I’ve read as much as I have.

    • I look forward to reading your posts for A Month of Faves 🙂 It’s always a nice way to end the year!

Good for you! I set mine at 75 and honestly I could read more if I would give up some re-reading of fave books (I don’t count the books if it’s a re-read) or if I took less time with social media- but I so love those carefully curated IG timelines.

I decided a couple years ago to set a reasonable goal and to just have fun with reading. Some months I’m tearing through the books- others, not so much (looking at you Spring and Summer- the garden and the pool take up a LOT of time! )

  2. Started Sometimes I Lie and got pulled away by blogging stuff-must get back to it! Love love love the look of One Day in December! Happy belated Thanksgiving! (In Ireland so actually it’s a holiday we bypass, but it sounds like a great day!)

Great post! I Loved Sometimes I Lie too!! I hit all the sales yesterday , but today I’m reading The Winter Sister by Megan Collins and it is really good so far. Thanks for the shout-out! ❤

    • *smooches* Thanksgiving weekend was quiet without the girls being here. I’ve honestly done the most of my Christmas shopping already- I’ve got a couple of cute things to pick up here and there and still need to get the girls’ their gifts, but just not going crazy with gifts.

I did some cleaning, started watching Younger and watched Dirty John last night (and have SO.MANY.FEELINGS. about that!)
