My aunt is coming in for the weekend and while not sure what all will be going on- I highly doubt that I will blog or social media much this weekend…..
What are you doing this weekend?
1. My #FridayReads:
Have you read The Summer Sail?
2. Reviews and bookish things from the web: Good Book Fairy reviews Baby Teeth, Suzy Approved reviews The Seasonaires, Lit Wit Wine Dine reviews (and is having a giveaway!) of The Boy At The Door (you might recall this being one of Erin’s suggestions from 12 Mysteries That Will Give You Chills This Summer), Always With A Book reviews All Your Perfects, Well Read Traveler reviews Girls’ Night Out, and Jennifer Tarheel Reader reviews She Was The Quiet One.
3. Has anyone read Somebody’s Daughter?
4. Summer is a weird time at my house- the days are longer, so theoretically I feel like I get more done- but with the flower garden, there is even more to do ( not counting the washing, drying, vacuuming every day- yes, I vacuum every day- and the other assorted errands I find myself on. I did finish 3 books this week, though (Baby Teeth, Believe Me, and After Nightfall)
*What are you doing this weekend? Happy Reading!!!!*

Have fun with your aunt! What did you think of Baby Teeth?
I thought Baby Teeth was crazy! I did enjoy it, tho!!!
Oh my goodness, I was linked in my very first Literary Friday post, which as you know is my favorite from your blog! 💗 Thank you so much, T! And enjoy your weekend with your aunt!
❤ ❤ ❤ Love you Jen 🙂 🙂
We had a pretty quiet weekend. She got to the house around 6 on Fri and we had pot roast and then sat out back with some wine. Swam on Sat and then had a BBQ. Then she left pretty early Sun morning. It was a good weekend!
I’m glad you had a good weekend, and love you too! ♥️ 💗 xo
Ok have you read Sweet Tea and Sympathy OR Ain’t She A Peach yet? I have LOVED both of those books 🙂
I have not! You think I would like them?
YES!!!!! I think so!
reading, writing, going to a pool party
denise
NICE!!!!!!
until the pool party was canceled–the hostess ended up in the hospital with a kidney stone!
And the baseball game we were supposed to attend on Friday–my husband was so sure it would be canceled because of all the rain, when I picked him up from work after driving through a deluge, he decided to skip it.
craziness!
Crazy times!
I’ve thought we were going to get rain twice this week- so sure we were going to get rain- that I cancelled my afternoon swims. No rain. And by the time I realized that we weren’t going to get the storm- too late to swim. SIGH
