Literary Friday ya’ll….

Hi folks…. It’s kinda rainy and dreary today and I’m really wanting to finish When Life Gives You Lululemons (61% in and really enjoying it!)

I’ll be going to the Garden Extravaganza tomorrow with my parents- we’re looking forward to hearing some of the panels and I want to look at the gazebos and dream happily away about how my yard would look with something so nice in it 🙂

Today thanks to @williammorrowbooks & @authorbeatriz #partner- I'm getting to take part in #beatrizbinge! . . I have ❤️LOVED❤️Beatriz since she blew into my life like a 100 year hurricane with A Hundred Summers. And each book ( and cover!) just gets better! . . First, let me gush over the cover of A Certain Age. It's gorgeous. Hit me in all the best places with the shimmer, shine, and color. It's like New Year's Eve all shiny & full of promise. . . The actual story: When reading this, I did not realize it was based on an opera & honestly- at first I found the book a bit hard to get into. However, there was enough mystery & intrigue ( and the trial!) to keep me going. And I'm glad I did. . . Why you should read it: Beatriz has a talent with words, characters & settings. Again, while the Schuyler sisters hold my heart in their hands- A Certain Age ultimately worked for me and the cover def works. Jazz Age has always intrigued me, but never more than when in the hands of the extremely capable Beatriz. . . Have you read any of Beatriz's books?
