We’re talking about books that were worth the hype this year…. or that weren’t 😉
Join hosts Girlxoxo, Traveling with T and Estella’s Revenge for our 4th annual #AMonthofFaves blog event – a fun way to recap the year that was. We have every day of the event (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) planned out for you, so you can join in anytime. There will also be a link-up on all our blogs – put a link to your post so that we can stop by each and every post to leave comments, high fives, good vibes and well wishes. Here’s what we’ll be blogging about.
Today’s prompt: Fri. | Dec. 8 – 3 Popular Books Worth the Hype #AMonthofFaves– and/or Not Worth the Hype
3 Books That Were Worth The Hype
It’s Always The Husband by Michele Campbell
Kept me guessing, flipping pages and completely engrossed.
Read my full review of It’s Always The Husband.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I was captivated by the cover. The sauciness of Evelyn Hugo. The Hollywood Glitter. And how TJR broke the story down.
Read my full review of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.
Twisty. Twisted. So. Darn. Good.
Read my full review of Lie To Me.
The book that Wasn’t worth the hype (IMO)
Different books just have different reactions for people. This book SOUNDED really good to me. Other reviewers thought it was great. Maybe I expected too much. But this book just did not do anything for me (well anything good.)
The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond.
Read my Goodreads review of The Marriage Pact.
