Two weekends ago, I was at the Louisiana Book Festival and I had a fab time! A full re-cap is coming soon, but here are some peeks of how much fun I had with Lauren K. Denton, Erin Bass, & Patti Callahan Henry (love our photo on Instagram!) and then the next day I got a picture with Joshilyn Jackson (see us on Instagram!)
When I got back home, it was time for Trunk or Treat with Miss A. She dressed up as Belle and was adorable. One day we will laugh about this Halloween picture….
And last week… Sir Thomas (the cat) has had to spend some overnight time at the vet’s office- neither of us were happy when I left him there ( tears were shed by both of us) and I’m happy he’s home- he’s NOT seriously injured- just in a fight with something and his arm needed some stitching! Because Sir Thomas has a mind of his own- he’s managed to rip out his stitches and we have to go back to the vet today to see what can be done- so send us lots of thoughts as we will both need them today!
Now that you are caught up… on to Literary Friday!

How is Sir Thomas? I hope he is doing better.
He’s ok! Re-stitched and now wearing a shirt because the cone did not work for him (got it off in less than 10 minutes!) I’m hoping we can make it till next Monday when stitches are being removed (fingers crossed!)
