Literary Friday ya’ll….

I’m getting my mojo back after all my Book Expo fun, my kitty cat seems to be feeling better, and I’ve even been able to read 2 books (more on that later!) In social media news, I’ve been posting to Instagram more lately (and loving how some of my book pics are turning out) so… follow me?

1. Southern Living has been posting about some great books with these 2 book lists- 1 is for your beach bag and the other is all about those Fall Reads that you need to get your hands on (Shout out to Marin Thomas and Nicole Baart for having their books mentioned!)

2.   ICYMI reviews at Traveling With T: Love The Wine You’re WithThe Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

3. #FuturisticFriday Giveaways: Love The Wine You’re With and Every Last Lie.

4. Reviews from around the web:  Book Blogging Momma reviews Slightly South of Simple,  Ivory Owl Reviews reviews The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Always With A Book reviews The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and gives a recap of Day 1 of Book ExpoOnDBookshelf reviews Before We Were Yours (A She Reads Books of Summer selection), Novelgossip reviews The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,  Crime by the Book interviews Emily Carpenter (author of The Weight of Lies),  Doing Dewey reviews Touch,  Utah Mom’s Life reviews A Bridge Across The Ocean,  Bookfan reviews The Summer House,  and Suzy Approved Book Reviews reviews The Gypsy Moth Summer.

5. My #FridayReads is The Weight of Lies by Emily Carpenter. 50% in and loving it. I also read Kate White’s Even If It Kills Her and Julie Lawson Timmer’s Mrs. Saint and the Defectives earlier this week (both are good!)

*What are you reading this weekend?*

Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,

Yay, glad to see more activity on Instagram lately. I love it and it’s a fun avenue to share great books.

I have some book reviews I need to catch up on too, I feel like I’m always behind and the kids being off school has thrown off my usual routine.

Have a great weekend, I’m reading The Nightingale for Travel the World in Books and the Big Book Summer challenges in yours (and many others’) recommendations!

    • I’ve really been enjoying IG lately.

I’ve been trying to write my review within 1 week of reading the book and getting the images and stuff made for the review.

I hope you are enjoying The Nightingale 🙂
