First Comes Lovs
Got that in the #src2016 package. Can’t wait to read it 🙂
I just finished Lies and Other Acts of Love and next up is The Weekenders. I am looking forward to the release of Here’s to Us by Elin Hilderbrand. Elin is my favorite beach read author.
Wasn’t LIES so good?! I’m LOVING the cover of The Weekenders as well. I need to get my name on the list at library for Elin’s latest before it becomes TOO long of a list 😉
I can’t believe Beatriz Williams has another book out – she’s a machine!!
YES! Technically it is out in late June- Maybe the 28th? But, agreed- she’s a machine 😉
I’ve read a couple of these – The Weekenders, Lies and Other Acts of Love – great beach reads. My review stack includes Sunshine Beach, Better Get to Livin’, The Wedding Sisters, Flight Patterns and The Matchmakers of Minnow Bay. Looks like I have some great summer reading on the patio ahead of me!
I have all but one of the books you mentioned in your review stack (did not get Flight Patterns!) I’ve read LIES and LOVED it. Am totally digging the cover of The Weekenders as well 🙂
Loved A Lowcountry Wedding! Also enjoyed Celebrations by Kay Moser and Some Women!
Looking forward to reading The Lilac Sisters!
I’ve got to catch up on 2 or 3 of Mary Alice Monroe books. Some Women is cute- I think it would make an excellent movie. Hearing nothing but raves about The Lilac Sisters.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you’ll like NASHVILLE BY HEART just as much as we do, Tamara! Makes me want to go to Nashville!!
I want those boots SO much on the cover. LOVE the cover (and the excerpt was so fun!)
By any chance may I please add my debut novel, Because of Savannah to the list? I would greatly appreciate all the support I can get. It is the first in my trilogy. The sequel is completed but not published yet.
Hi Sarah,
As much as I would love to say “yes” because I do love to support authors- I don’t add extra books to the list after it’s published (mainly because I have my social media planned out!)
However, email me (email is on my home page) and let’s discuss some ideas for coverage.
Thanks for including me, sweet Tamara! I am SO HONORED!!! xoxoxo Kristy
Oh sweet Kristy- LIES makes the perfect summer read. HAD to include it!
Yes, what Kristy said! Thanks for including NASHVILLE BY HEART. Makes my heart happy.
*fist bump* So glad your heart is happy, Tina. My feet would be so happy if I could get those boots in the cover 😉
Great summer reading!!!😃I would also add ALL SUMMER LONG by Dorothea Benton frank!!!!!
Thank you SO much! I THINk (not a 100% sure) that DBF’s book was included in my Books that Have me thinking about beach time, umbrella drinks and the smell of SPF. I got to thinking about beach EARLY 😉
Thanks for dropping by!
Have read three of them already, not sure what will be next but Wendy Wax, Beatriz Williams and Karen White will be high up on the list!
I’ve read a few of them already as well. I’m hoping to start Beatriz’s book soon!
Cannot wait to read these!!!
*ahem* I’m having a giveaway for 1 or 2 in the upcoming months 😉
It depends..when should I start counting it as summer? Hmm, we will see 😉
lol- well I always think of Memorial Day weekend as the unofficial beginning of summer because it’s usually pretty warm in the South by then. But I guess around the June 21st mark is the official kick off to summer. Be a bookish rebel- start summer reading when you think it’s summer 😉
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh that makes sense 🙂
🙂
Love this list! I’m not sure what I’ll read first from it – but I’ve read Lies and Other Acts of Love and The Friends We Keep already and loved them both. I forgot I want to get my hands on Some Women! Definitely soon.
*blushing* Thank you!!!! I’ve read LIES and TFWK as well (really enjoyed both!) Some Women is very cute ( I think it will make an excellent movie 🙂
Thank you for stopping by to comment 🙂
I have a lot of these already in my TBR pile and a few left to buy! 🙂
