Today’s prompt: Top 5 Books on My Winter Reads List

Well, as it’s getting close to mine and Katie’s next Futuristic Friday unveiling- I’m going to talk about some books that I already own that I want to read over the winter months- and save the bright and shiny 2016 ones for Futuristic Friday (coming soon!)

Be sure and check out Tanya and Andi’s post- I know those ladies have some books lined up.

Top 5 Books/Authors on My Winter List:

1. Alafair Burke. Listen, I love me some Alafair- and I’m getting close to finishing her Ellie Hatcher series- I have ANGEL’S TIP on my Kindle to read and then will just have to get DEAD CONNECTION and I’ll be all caught up.

2. Karin Slaughter: I’m going to check out her earlier books!

3. Mary Kay Andrews- her latest, BEACH TOWN, has set un-read on my shelf for too long.

4. Laura Lippman- I’m slowly working my way through the backlist.

5. Barbara Delinsky.

**********************

What books/authors are you looking forward to reading over winter?

  1. Nice list, I will get to that MKA book in 2016, I usually listen to the audio. LIke that you have Barbara Delinksy on her list, loved the 2015 one she published and I’m slowly reading others of hers. Hmm for me (summer of course here) the new Kate Morton and The Coincidence of Coconut Cake – both paperbacks sitting on my shelf.

  2. Great list T, and I love books from all of the authors you mentioned. Have read almost all of Alafair Burke’s books, and am so looking forward to 2015 and her new book The Ex!
