Day 3 of #AMonthOfFaves- for all the bookish goodness in the world- you people that are participating in the event are SO great. The posts are so entertaining!
Shout out to Andi @ Estella’s Revenge and Tanya @ Girlxoxo– on their own they are pretty great- but their super-powers combined for this event is 50 shades of win.
Today’s Prompt:
Thu. | Dec. 3 – These Are A Few of My Favorite Things in 2015 – eg. to eat, drink, wear, smell, see, do, enjoy, best thing I bought, most used gift received etc, favorite concert, outdoor activity, place visited, most squee worthy moment of the year, biggest change.
What were some of my favorite things for 2015? Books, obviously. But what else? Let’s see….
So 3 things that I love in this pic:
- Good book
- Fetch scarf
- Hot Chocolate walls (perfect for selfies!)
Other things:
Living Proof products have caused me to have more “OMG- good hair days” than “ehh, I live in the South, With tons of humidity”. Thank you!
Buying my domain was pretty squee-worthy.
Well- judging from my Instagram account– #bookmail pretty much rocked.
Perfume still rocked my world in 2015.
Taylor Swift’s BAD BLOOD was played on repeat for a large part of 2015.
Uptown Funk also got a lot of repeat play.
I discovered WhichWich. Yep. Tasty sandwich.
BEA 15 rocked for a variety of reasons- but getting to meet Kimberly McCreight, Kristy Woodson Harvey, have lunch with Pam Jenoff and see Stephanie Evanovich again- so cool!
Meeting Rhiannon @ Ivory Owl Reviews was so fun!
Getting mentioned in Jenny Milchman’s latest book, AS NIGHT FALLS, well *faints dead away from excitement*
Toes in sand. BLISS.
Being sent the manuscript for Kristy Woodson Harvey’s next book- LIES AND OTHER ACTS OF LOVE. Honored.
Dressing up and having a crazy fun group of ladies to hang out with one weekend a year- it’s the best.
Being an aunt to the most beautiful girl in the world. Hearing her giggles. Watching her grow from a baby to a headstrong toddler.
As always- the pool rocks my summer every year. The smell of sunscreen. The feel of the sun. The water. HAPPPPPPPPPINESS!
I’m sure I’ll think of a hundred more things later- but I’m tapped out now.

Aww, these are so fun, Tanya!! I’m with you on the music selections (SOOOO much Uptown Funk!) and Living Proof products, while more expensive, are an ABSOLUTE necessity in the south! I have really short hair (and have for the past couple of years) and I still use their styling cream religiously! I hope to attend BEA one year; I think it would be lots of fun. Thanks so much for sharing these and I hope you have a great day!
I danced to Uptown Funk this morning (that’s how much it still gets played at my house 🙂 I use the frizz free cream (and if I use that- I can sometimes use other shampoos- but my hair looks better when I use the whole line!)
BEA is so fun. I really enjoyed my 2 times at BEA- and hope you get to go!
Congrats on your mention in Jenny Milchman’s book – that’s pretty awesome!
Thank you SO much. I was allllllllll *jazzzzzzz hands*
Oh my gosh, doesn’t BEA seem like forever ago?
YESSSSSSSS! It really does. And now I’m trying to decide if I want to go to Chicago or skip a year or go to RT Book Convention in Vegas (b/c Vegas is fun!) Or not do any of the above.
Wow! Being mentioned in a book is so exciting! It sounds like you’ve had a great year!
Thank you! I think it was a pretty good year 🙂
I LOVE your post. Mine is not as extensive or creative.
GREAT JOB…love your answers and photos.
You had lunch with Pam Jenoff? I am sooooo jealous.
She is such a fabulous person and author. I have only talked to her briefly in line at the BEA this past spring and at her book signing. Such a lovely lady.

My A Month of Faves
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I did! Another blogger friend let me know they were meeting up and invited me- we had a picnic in one of the areas need the food (no chairs, so we just sat on floor!)
Wow….that had to be awesome. She is so sweet. I would have sat on the floor too to have lunch with Pam Jenoff. 🙂
This FAVES idea is such fun. So glad I joined in even though my posts aren’t that glorious.
Thanks again, T.
She really is so nice. I just enjoyed getting to talk to her so much.
Thank you for joining in- i can’t take credit for the Faves idea (totally Tanya’s idea!) but I’m glad to participate (and to see so many bloggers I know participating!)
Love it!!!!!
Thank you! *jazz hands* 🙂
Such a great post, Tamara! And now you’ve got me listening to Bad Blood and it’s gonna be on repeat all day. So catchy! There goes the Christmas music. LOL
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! Bad Blood is SO freaking catchy. I turn that music up loud and car dance whenever it comes on. My niece and I would dance together when we would hear it at the house too!!
Rocked my world? Whoa. Put in that context, I don’t know. But it looks like a lot in your world rocked, that’s for sure. Congratulations on a great year in book blogging and otherwise.
🙂 🙂 🙂 Thank you! 2015 has been pretty good to me (especially in blogging/bookish ways) 🙂
Looks like you have so many awesome memories form this year – yay! Your niece is the cutest 🙂
Thank you SO much- my niece is a mess at times- sassy and independent- but I love her!
Love that scarf! You looked like you had a great time during the year. Love your Batman costume.
Thank you! I love the scarf as well 🙂 My Batman costume was a total last minute put together outfit- but me and Batgirl (my niece) had fun!
I’m going to have to check out Living Proof. I can use something to de-poof my hsir!
It’s a little bit pricey (I think the cream I use is around 25 bucks for a bottle- BUT I love it.) And I’m now using the dry shampoo- and it’s pretty good 🙂
What a great year! Loved your recap. I’m ready to say goodbye to 2015 in a lot of ways, but there was a lot good about it, too.
Thank you (re: my recap) I hope 2016 brings less reason to be excited to say goodbye! 🙂
Wow, you had an awesome year. That makes my heart happy.
Awww! Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂 *heart happy dancing*
