Book Talk With R & T: Movie Cast for THE FORTUNE HUNTER

dream cast for The Fortune Hunter Book Talk With R and T

This week of THE FORTUNE HUNTER is quickly coming to a close- Book Talk with R & T has a couple more things up our sleeves- and then the week is over! Don’t forget to enter the giveaway over at Ivory Owl Reviews (it’s on the main page, top right hand corner!)Since today is all about the movie (and hold your horses- I’m not saying there will be a movie or not!) I thought long and hard about people that I would see in my mind as I was reading THE FORTUNE HUNTER. I didn’t cast the whole movie- just a few folks- the ones that I could “see” the best in my mind!

Movie Cast for THE FORTUNE HUNTER

Madeline Stowe as Sisi. She’s a bit older than what Sisi was in THE FORTUNE HUNTER- but she’s got the right kind of look, she could play someone worrying about “not being the beautiful one” anymore, and she’s beautiful.

Mia Wasikowska or Jena Malone as Charlotte. Both women strike me as being able to play a character that is more interested in her skills of photography and less worried about all the “lady rules”.

Alexis Bledel as Augusta. She would have the right kind of way to deliver some of the subtle (and not so subtle) lines that Augusta would say to Charlotte.

And lastly, as Bay… it would be Sam Worthington. He just has the look of an excellent horsemen, a fortune hunter, and someone that could play all the sides of Bay with the right kind of emotion and charm.

So.. let me know what you think of the cast I picked- and be sure to check out Ivory Owl Reviews– where she is working on her cast picks!

    • Hi Daisy!

Thanks so much 🙂 🙂 And darn it- I should have thought of Rachel Weisz- she would make a great Sisi. I kept seeing Madeline, but felt she was too old (even though, I think she looks fab!) but couldn’t picture anyone else when I was thinking of Sisi. Thanks for stopping by to comment!
