I debated about writing this post for a few weeks after being questioned in another post about my refusal to buy John Grisham books anymore. But, after much thought- this story needs to be told. If you are an avid John Grisham fan, I suggest you stop right here and not read further. For everyone else- read on! Continue reading

The Wife, The Maid, and The Mistress by Ariel Lawhon (She Reads Books of Fall)
Hey darlings!
So you know that She Reads has changed the format and instead of choosing 1 book per month to read- they are doing 4 for 3 months! And calling it She Reads Books of Fall!
The good part of this is that we have much time to read, to get excited, to even fangirl over these books! Which is all happy dance and smiles all around in my book!
The 4 books for The Books of Fall are: THE HOUSE WE GREW UP IN by Lisa Jewell, THE DISTANCE by Helen Giltrow, THE SILENT SISTER by Diane Chamberlain, and THE WIFE, THE MAID, AND THE MISTRESS by Ariel Lawhon.
“But wait, T, wasn’t THE WIFE, THE MAID, and THE MISTRESS an earlier 2014 selection for She Reads?” That’s right, darling readers- you are so super-smart! It was! But, because it’s got a gorgeous new cover for it’s paperback release- it was an additional selection- to give the months a bit more bang for it’s buck! Continue reading
Slack Friday: The Perfect Gift by Dani-Lyn Alexander
SLACK FRIDAY: NOVEMBER 28, 2014
Avoid crazed shopping crowds! Keep calm and carry on at home with these great Merr-E Holiday Treats from Pocket Star eBooks!
Now listen, I love me some shopping. I really do. I can smell a good sale from 20+ miles away and a shoe sale from even further! But, Black Friday is just the one day I can’t get into the shopping. Between the parking lot, the crowds- well, I tried it for a couple of years and then I decided to do the world a favor by staying home and curling up with a good book. And go shopping the other 360+ days a year.
So, the folks at Pocket Star must have been reading my mind (I hope they weren’t really reading my mind!) and came up with a list of books that will have RIDICULOUSLY low prices so you can stay at home and read instead of going shopping and crying in a parking lot because the store was too crazy (ahem…. not that I have ever done that.) Where is Traveling With T?
Hey lovelies… every time I post this type of topic I find myself humming “Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?” (BTW, that trench coat she wore with the artistically placed hat on her head- FASHION sense. #Envious) But enough about me and my envy of a cartoon-ish character’s wardrobe…. Traveling With T has hit the road… Well, the road of the internets, that is. Yes- been burning up the road the past 2 days- and I want you, my readers, to know where I’ve been- and to able to read my guest posts- and give my hosts some love! Continue reading
