Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

I so enjoy the Cupcake Bakery series by Jennifer McKinlay. She keeps it light and funny, but mostly importantly- the characters grow and evolve (something some cozy mysteries fail to do!)

 

What I liked:

The cover is just scrumptious. I love it!

The mystery was pretty good. It had a few twists, but I mainly now read this series to keep up with the Cupcake gang!

The anticipation of Mel and Dear Joe’s wedding. I love this couple.

 

Bottom line: You probably won’t enjoy this book so much if you haven’t read at least a few of the previous ones, but long time fans will enjoy. I feel that Jenn McKinlay all be wrapping this series up in the next 2-3 books and while I would miss the Cupcake gang, it’s always better to leave a reader wanting more books 🙂
