Then they find a third body. Within the snowed-in paradise, something–or someone–is picking off the guests one by one. They can’t leave, and with no cell service, there’s no prospect of getting the police in until the weather loosens its icy grip. The weekend getaway has turned deadly. This book cover kept catching my eye on the internet and then one day at Sam’s Club, it just threw itself into my cart 😉 *giggles*

I recently read and reviewed Someone We Know– my first Shari Lapena book- and I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book- but- LOVED it!

What I liked:

The cover. It gave me literary chills.

The setting of the book. Trapped because of a snowstorm and someone is picking them off one by one….. Yes, please!

The ending. I’ve really enjoyed both of the endings in the 2 Shari Lapena books I’ve read. She gives you a little something extra!

 

Bottom line: Shari, I think you are on the fast track to becoming an auto-buy author for me!
