Literary Friday ya’ll…

Hey ya’ll- this Literary Friday is going to be a bit on the longer side since I missed last Friday because the cutest nieces in the world were staying with me ( I couldn’t get to a computer- I was too busy making lemonade for the gals and me- I’m not sure how much lemonade we consumed, but it was quite a bit 😉

Someone thinks she owns the couch….. Going from a 3 cat house to only having 1 cat has been hard. I miss my boys. I miss seeing them run around the house & laying in beds. I miss Sir Thomas laying in my lap. Hearing the sound of Jerry greeting me Every morning. . . I go through way less cat food, but I’d gladly buy double the cat food if the boys would return. . . Still heartbroken 💔

I’m not sure if Confessions of a Shopaholic was the first chick lit series I read ( I think it was- but heck, that’s knocking on almost 20 years ago- so……..) . . Sometimes, even though I have piles of books to read, I feel the need to revisit an old bookish friend. Someone who can make me laugh. During the time with my mom’s breast cancer diagnosis & surgery, I just wasn’t mentally there enough to devote myself to new reads. I needed, craved comfort & this series gave it to me. . .
