The duo of Mary Higgins Clark & Alafair Burke is like the sweetest candy! I love seeing what they come up with and the on-going story of Laurie Moran.

You know how sometimes you just read- you’re not looking to figure it out, you’re just enjoying it? That is how I feel about their books. I’m not making lists in my minds- I’m seeing the red herrings, but I’m just rolling with them. I just want to read and drink my sweet tea. This series is perfect for that.

 

What I liked:

Plenty of people with motives!

How the story ended. I won’t reveal it, but it was a good ending and led me to believe that the next book will continue in the same manner.

 

Bottom line: This is not an OMG BEST book EVER type of book. But it continues the story of Laurie Moran, is enjoyable and a perfect way to spend an afternoon or 2!
