Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

I’m a huge fan of Jenn McKinlay’s Cupcake and Library Lover series. She combines wit with some romance and memorable towns and characters. Because I enjoy the romances in those books- I was curious- could Jenn McKinlay write an actual romance and not just a romance in a cozy mystery?

The answer is.. she can. Now, I will say I prefer Kristan Higgins’s Blue Heron series when looking for romance books that I like, but there is a lot in Bluff Point that makes me think about Blue Heron. So kudos to Jenn for that!

What I liked:

The cover. So sweet. I love the colors and the dog!

Gavin. So sweet. So adorable. SO the type of you guy you wish for.

The set-up. Mac’s story is just the first in what appears to be a trilogy and Jenn made me curious enough about Bluff Point to see what happens next.

 

Bottom line: While I prefer a Jenn McKinlay romance with a side of mystery (ala Cupcake and Library Lovers style), the setting of Bluff Point plus the curiosity of the other character’s stories will have me coming back to Bluff Point for more.
