Traveling With T purchased this book for personal reading- but after reading, decided to review it.

Shore Excursion

Sidney Marsh, former Mississippi girl- now lives in the big city. That big city- well, it’s the biggest city- New York City. Yes, indeed- Sidney left her small town Mississippi roots and is now a travel agent for Itchy Feet Travel in the Big Apple.

Wait- what did you hear about travel agents? They are a dying breed? Well, the travel world may be turning into a book it yourself kind of world- but for the lovely folks at Itchy Feet Travel- well, they try to make their travelers enjoy every minute.

Sidney Marsh is here to help all the travelers, along with her esteemed colleague Jay. Sidney, Jay and the High Steppers are heading on a cruise- first Scandinavia, then Russia. The problem? A killer is on the same cruise.

With a Nancy Drew like skill, travel agent Sidney Marsh is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

Having read both Game Drive and Side Trip to Kathmandu by Marie Moore- I decided it was time to actually read the first book, Shore Excursion.

SHORE EXCURSION was a cute introduction to the world of Miss Sidney Marsh. It had a pretty decent amount of travel info- which was interesting- but perhaps a tad bit too much (I am pleased to say that by the 3rd book- Marie Moore walks the line of educating non-travel agents with just the right amount of info!)

The mystery was interesting- and the cast of characters, well, they made me laugh as they went about their business.

Sidney and her Nancy Drew ways provided me with a quick and fast read- a book that I was able to sit down with and enjoy over a couple of nights worth of hot cocoa.

Enjoyable. Fun. Cute. Perfect for fans who want a light mystery and just want to be entertained.
