Traveling With T’s Thoughts

This is my first Susan Mallery book. Getting it in the mail, I was pretty excited. It had the exact kind of cover- beach setting, pink writing, 3 ladies. I sat down and awaited some light and fluffy reading time to happen.

HOWEVER…

The Girls of Mischief Bay is not really light and fluffy. There are some serious issues being discussed- marriage issues, age issues, work vs relationships.

I really could have pinched Eric, Nicole’s husband. I understand following your dreams- but there is a point in life that you have to be responsible- and while one could say his dream following paid off- I wonder if one day in the future he will consider how much he lost in chasing that dream.

Shannon is probably the one I identified the most with, in the part where she is looking for love- and yet does not know if she can find it. After a blind date goes very well- she is happy with the guy- but their path is hardly easy. Very realistic setting for single women/ divorced men and their past potential issues.

Pam. I can’t say anything about Pam because her story was the most sad. But, very worthwhile reading!

All in all, Nicole, Shannon and Pam each have an interesting story- and you will be entertained (as well as a bit of a thinker book at times).
