Back in earlier 2014, Ashton Lee stopped by Lemuria Books for a signing of THE READING CIRCLE. Having met Ashton at THE CHERRY COLA BOOK CLUB event in 2013, I made plans to attend TRC signing.

Arriving at Lemuria, there were already a couple of people there- waiting for the signing to start. I grabbed a seat and had my Coke nearby- while my camera was in my hands- poised and ready for some great pictures.

A local book club arrived in Lemuria- the ladies were eager to chat with Ashton as they had made plans for him to visit their book club later in 2014. Chairs were pulled up, room was made on the bench area that the author sits at- and we were off and running.

Ashton picked up a copy of THE READING CIRCLE and began choosing a section to read. One person in the audience begged him to not to read past a certain page- as she was currently reading the book and did not want to be “spoiled”.

The section that Ashton picked was just right- it teased us audience members with a bit of a cliffhanger- and prompted discussion.
