A few weeks ago, St. Martin’s Press contacted Traveling With T about “Hosting and Posting a Tea Party for BLOOD OF AN ENGLISHMAN”. I immediately accepted- and began planning my tea party. Was I going to have some book buddies over? Drink tea in various locations? Invite my sister-in-law over for a cuppa of tea while I play with my adorable niece, Miss A? Oh, the possibilities were endless. Then, I found I would be out of town the week of the “Host and Post”. So, this tea party hit the road to Destin!

Day 1: Leaving for Destin. House is a mess of bags. Car is half-loaded. Kitty cats are nervous because they know I’m leaving. And, I find time for a cup of tea- a moment of sanity while the world is crazy around me.

After a long drive, a late lunch at Cracker Barrel, and getting kisses from the sweet Miss A- I wake up early on Day 2 and begin to unpack my Mississippi bag:

And then, the days go by in a blur- reading, enjoying the sun, spending time with family.. and finally.. it’s the last night of the trip:
