Summary from Goodreads:

A critical and commercial hit, Revenge has a rabid and rapidly growing fan base. It’s consistently the #1 show in its timeslot and it’s ABC’s biggest primetime hit since Lost, the first series in four years to match that show’s success in the coveted 18-49 demographic. A fast-paced and complicated character-driven show with many plot twists and unanswered questions, fans will welcome insight and analysis into Emily Thorne’s master plan in this intelligent but playful companion to the series. Explorations of themes, characters, the show’s soapy and literary inspirations, and real-world events make this the must-have book for everyone who is watching Revenge.

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

I am a huge Revenge fan. Have been watching since the very first episode and really think the first 2 seasons of the show are the absolute best (season 3 and 4 are just not quite as good as the first 2, in my opinion- but still worth watching!) . Smartly written and entertaining- Revenge was the answer to people looking for a nighttime drama with a soapy feel. There is enough guilty pleasures in this show: good looking cast, fashion, gossip, and the setting, the fabulous (or so I’ve been told, Hamptons).

The guide provides an in-depth look to the early time on the show- the back-story, the characters, ties to literature (The Count of Monte Cristo and The Great Gatsby) and so much more. Pictures of the cast, the bios, and other information are also included. Summary of each episode of the first season (which will come in handy for new viewers as well as current viewers who wish to keep plot twists fresh in mind).

A great companion guide for fans (new and old) to Revenge.
