Teaser Tuesdays (Should Be Reading) Aug 28

Ok, I’m late to the game on Teaser Tuesday since today is Thursday. But on Tuesday, it was crazy busy- so I’m just going to contribute late.

My TT is this:

The single greatest point of interest about a woman’s thirty-eight years was not what she had done, but what she hadn’t told anyone she’d done.

But silences, like solitude, could contain any amount of comfort or discomfort, any degree of truth.

The Unfinished Work of Elizabeth D. by Nichole Bernier, pg 61

Teaser Tuesdays (July 10)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

I knew I liked her then, really liked her, this girl with an explanation for everything.

There’s something disturbing about recalling a warm memory and feeling utterly cold.

Gone Girl- maybe page 10- (I’m unsure as I read on my Kindle)

My Teaser Tuesday is from The River Witch by Kimberly Brock (page 104)

The best part, the only part worth anything, I’d left in another box, buried in Dalton.

I couldn’t keep this up, and neither could she, but I had no idea how to keep her safe inside.
