Faithless

Summary: The victim was buried alive in the Georgia woods–then killed in a horrifying fashion. When Sara Linton and Jeffrey Tolliver stumble upon the body, both become consumed with finding out who killed the pretty young woman. For them, a harrowing journey begins, one that will test their own turbulent relationship and draw dozens of life into the case.

For as Jeffrey and Sara move further down a trail of shocking surprises and hidden passions, neither is prepared for the most stunning discovery of all: the identity of a killer who is more evil and dangerous than anyone could have guessed.

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

Well, I am almost finished with the Grant County series and ya’ll, I have got to say I think I am glad. The books are good in that pulse pounding way- but I am completely baffled by the relationship between Sara and Jeffrey… I mean I get that they do love each other and I def don’t read this series for the romance- but they get a step closer and then something happens and they get like 20 steps away. Frustrating. And Lena. Good grief. Someone help me because that girl is going to drive me to drink. I hope book 6 turns things around some for Lena because that girl is due a break in a major way.

What I Liked:

The cover is interesting.

The plot of this book is good.

Bottom line: There are a lot of characters in this book and it’s sometimes hard to keep track of all of them. Plus, the whole Sara/Jeffrey drama/saga is running its course with me. Readable, not my fave Slaughter.

  1. I didn’t even know she had a series! I have a hard time sticking with series books. The one that I love though — The Stillhouse Lake series by Rachel Caine! Have you read those?
