Wedding Cake Crumble

Summary: Wedding bells and death knells are ringing for the Fairy Tale Cupcake crew in this latest mystery in the New York Times bestselling series

With Angie and Tate’s wedding just around the corner, it’s a happy–but very busy–time for Mel. Not only is she doing double duty as both the maid of honor and best man, but her bakery, Fairy Tale Cupcakes, has just been hired to provide cupcakes for a famous author’s book signing. But when the author turns up dead, it’s just the start of a murder mystery that Mel must solve.

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

I really have enjoyed the antics and fun of Mel and Angie over the years. They have been through a lot and each story gives me a giggle.

What I liked:

The cover. It is SCRUMPTIOUS looking.

The character development and the sub plots. I don’t read cozy mysteries for tons of recipes- I read them for the character development and the sub plots in the stories. Jenn McKinlay nails this whether you are reading her Cupcake series or Library Lover’s series!

That Mel and dear Joe have set a date! I am almost as excited as Mel’s mom is about these 2 getting married!

Bottom line: This is cute, sweet and with a mystery that is enjoyable. Grab a cupcake and give it a read!
