It’s a big day today- it’s my blog’s 6th birthday. 6! I can’t believe that I have been blogging for 6 years!

Blogging is still such a joy for me. I love to sit and figure out what to type, what to say about books. But I would be lying if I didn’t also share that while I am still loving blogging- over the last few months- Instagram has stolen my heart. So, make sure you are following me at Instagram– I’m sharing pictures of what I’m reading, talking about SO much in my Instagram stories and just having fun.

But don’t worry your pretty little heads- as long as I can still type and books are still being published- I’ll always have something to say at Traveling With T- so just keep your eyes out for the next post (and the one after that and the one after that 😉

This is just a sampling of some good books I read this year: Never Let You Go, The Fifth Letter, The Perfect Stranger, and Follow Me Down.

 

Some bookish fun:

 

New York was my big trip- going to Book Expo and having fun in NYC. In late October, I was able to do a quick trip to Baton Rouge to see my friend, Erin from Deep South Magazine.

 

Real-life fun:

 

In my real life- when I’m not blogging or social media-ing- I’m an aunt. A daughter. Someone who loves to get funny photos (and feeding a camel- that is fun and funny!)

 

The cats:

 

Jerry, Sir Thomas and Callie kept me busy this year. Laughing at how funny they are, snapping pictures, watching them frolic in the yard, and making sure that they are much loved is a big part of 2017.

Because we all need something pretty to look at 🙂
