Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

After loving Sarah Knight’s debut, The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck, when I saw her new book out I knew I had to read it.

I’ve got a lot of my sh*t together. I pay my bills not only on time, but ahead of schedule. I don’t panic when people stop by the house and throw everything in the closet or have to feign just recovering from a terrible illness because the house is always in a reasonable state of “clean”. I’m pretty well organized and I basically know the big sh*t I need to get done every day and the stuff that is extra sprinkles on the sundae if I DO get it done.

But.. sometimes I need a boost. A reminder. Maybe even a nifty saying or 2 to help me power through and Sarah Knight is the bomb dot com for that!

Did I learn some things? YES! Did I laugh? YES!

Here’s where Sarah really helped me: In my blog life I can be stretched too thin at times. I have so many ideas, friends that I like to give a hand, and a million other things and then sometimes my real life throws a grenade in my blog life (Miss A staying at the house for a week, the internet going down, etc) but I started applying some of Sarah’s tips and I break my blog down in chunks- work on this, build on that and it all works out.

Bottom line: This isn’t “new” stuff. Sarah is not handing you a golden ticket or a lamp with a genie in it. But she’s real, funny and putting things out there to get your sh*t together. Buy it and love it!
