Double Knot

Davis Way- computer hacker. Super spy. The body double to Bianca. Life is never dull for Davis- and while one might think that since Davis is  pregnant with twins that she’s going to kick her feet up.. and you know relax- well, they don’t know Davis.

It’s Davis’s last job before she begins her maternity leave- and all she has to do is pretend to be Bianca, to pose on the MS Probability in fabulous (and completely unwearable outfits) while the photographers snap pictures and then everyone who sees the pictures can rave about how great Bianca looks- even pregnancy can’t keep her from looking marvelous!

It’s just a few days, on the ship, a ship with luxury oozing from every area- so what could go wrong?

When Davis is involved….. plenty.

When Davis, her mom, Fantasy and an oddball assortment of other staff get locked in the room- Davis is fine. Not panicked. These things happen (especially to her!) But evidence shows up soon that lets Davis know this was not a freak accident.

With a little help from her friends and Anderson Cooper (the cat) Davis Way is going to get off this ship- come hell or high water. And she’s going to do it Davis Way style!

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

After being introduced to the genius of Davis Way last summer and flying through her first 4 books- when the option to review Double Knot came around- I was all “YESSSSS! For the love of good books- YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!”

I looked at my TBR pile and I just shoved them all aside. I needed to find out about Davis, right then. So, I did.

There are a lot of funny moments. There is some even over the top moments (and yet they work for Davis) But wrapped under the fun, is a tender nugget. A nugget that lets us know about Davis- before she became super spy and Bianca’s double. Before she married and divorced her ex-ex husband. And that makes Davis a little more human and even more relatable.

Looking for laughs? Looking for a book to brighten up your day? Double Knot is that and more!

Bottom line: Recommended.
