The Scam

Nick Fox ( who might be earning the title of “somewhat reformed con man”) and Kate O’Hare are back together in THE SCAM.

The caper is crazy, and there is a high air of danger for all involved and yet- the unlikely duo of Nick and Kate make each book work.

Their target: Evan Trace who is running a money laundering scheme through his casino. Evan is just a tad bit crazy- and is very attracted to Kate- especially when he sees her in action.

With the usual cast of characters- the Dream Team that Nick and Kate have put together that cross between Ocean’s Eleven and White Collar territory, the duo plans to bring down Evan Trace.

Can they pull off another crazy caper? Or will someone permanently stop them?

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:

What can I say? I just really like Nick and Kate. They remind me of the earlier Steph and Joe from the Plum series. I love the crazy capers that Nick lovingly plans- the puns he uses, his 80’s trivia. I love how he and Kate just interact beautifully together- the sexual tension simmering between them.

THE SCAM takes the readers to several locations and involves many of the characters we have grown to love- especially Jake!

Bottom line: If you are a fan of Evanovich’s from her other series, THE SCAM will be a perfect addition. New to Evanovich? You can still read THE SCAM- but you might want to start at the beginning to truly get what is so wonderful about the Kate and Nick dynamic. I, personally, can’t wait for the next book!
