Saved by the Belles
Blake O’Hara Heart is walking on cloud 9! Life is good- life is good like the best ice cream sundae with the most decadent sprinkles on top!
Blake is 8 months pregnant with her rekindled love, Sonny, child, is weeks away from divorcing her husband Harry- who is in serving the great state of Alabama as a senator in Washington, DC. Vivi, Blake’s BFF, is doing great with her daughter and husband, Lewis and Dallas is on the verge of adopting a sweet child. Life for the Sassy Belles is great and Blake could not be happier.
Until….
Harry calls one day and tells Blake he still loves her and needs to come visit to talk. Blake is not sure what he wants, but she knows that she won’t trade her baby and Sonny for anything. Before Harry gets back to town, though, the news hits the fan. Seems ole Harry has been engaging in some hanky-panky with a intern in the DC area. Of course, those that know Harry and know some of his past are not super-shocked to hear this; but he tells Blake that he’s being set up. Blake knows this man, has loved this man, and even though he’s a politician and known to lie- she believes him.
So… The Sassy Belles are on the case- eager to find the proof they need to clear Harry’s name and get him back to Washington, DC!
Traveling With T’s Thoughts:
This is the 4th book in the Sassy Belles series (and this is actually a novella). It is just as cute as the previous books in the series- Beth Albright paints a picture of Alabama with her words and the Sassy Belles characters that is sure to please!
There is romance (oh my, there is romance!) Humor and friendship are other big parts of the book. The ending is a bit bittersweet, but still wonderful.
If you have enjoyed Beth Albright’s previous books, then this will be no different. The Sassy Belles are back and better than ever!
