Book Blogger Appreciation Week

So the Twitter-world is all a-buzz about Book Blogger Appreciation Week. I’m throwing in my 2 cents of appreciation here: I love Book Bloggers. Through them, I find great books, interesting reviews, and people who love to discuss books.

When I first began blogging, blogging about books was not my intent. It just sort of evolved into a blog about books (however, still some traveling). I adore every comment, every book recommendation- I thank every person who stops by with something great to say, a book to recommend, encouraging me in my quest to read Pride and Prejudice- THANKS!

To show some book blogger love- here goes with some of the blogs I check out on a regular basis:

1. Deep South Mag is more than a blog- but they do great things for books. Erin deserves a million stars for all she does!

2. Hallie Sawyer– highly recommend her blog and tweets (@hallie_sawyer)

3. Bibliosue– Met her at Booktopia- her blog is always good for an interesting perspective and sometimes some giveaways!

4. Stephanie’s Written Word– a new favorite of mine.

5. Should Be Reading– tons of other book bloggers comment on this- I get great advice for books to read here.

6. Man VS Books Club– some of my cheerleaders in my quest to read Jane Austen.

7. Melinda McGuire– her blog is a must read.

8. She Reads– through their monthly reading picks and the She Reads blogger network- I’ve found a group that loves to read, picks books that are interesting and wonderful. Plus, a group of women who love to discuss books.

I’ve probably left people out- and I’ll feel bad about that when I realize it. Just know this: without book bloggers, the book world would still exist- however, it’d be a bit less fun in my opinion.

Now that I’ve told a list of book bloggers I think rock- tell me your list! Is there any on my list that is a must-visit for you?

Lastly- thanks to both the book bloggers AND the authors who write the books we blog about- xoxo

Happy Reading!
