One of the books- Before I go to Sleep- looks really great. Chilling, suspenseful and a book that could be hotly debated in a book club.
I was also fortunate to receive another big box of books from a book-club friend- she went through her bookshelves picking out books that I might like- I enjoy getting the fruits of a good cleaning out of shelves!
Still gathering my thoughts and energy to post about Booktopia in Oxford, MS (#booktopiams). Seriously a fun weekend.
Currently reading Alex Cross’s Trial by James Patterson for my book club AND still working on The River Witch by Kimberly Brock (poor Kim, her book is great- I just started it at a bad time- between getting ready for Booktopia AND Book Club- her book is getting a chapter read at a time.)

How did you get a big box?! I want one!
On Fridays- Harper Collins does a giveaway on social media- use the hashtag #fridayreads and say what you are currently reading. If they pick your entry, you get a box of books (no choice as to what books, tho).
Even if you don’t get picked, it’s still fun to see what other people are reading on #fridayreads.
So I’m guessing then I have to have a Twitter account? If so, then guess that won’t be happening!
You’ll need to have a Twitter account- but they may also have the contest on Facebook (I’m unaware of it, tho,if they do)
I’m almost certain I’ve read Before I Go to Sleep. If it’s the book I’m thinking of, it was deliciously creepy.
This book just sounds deliciously creepy! It’s by SJ Watson if that helps jog your memory.
