Oh, we are now in the -Ber months. While I am totally a summer girl, I’ll even admit this summer’s heat has pushed me pretty far. I’ve sweated more days than I care to admit like it’s my job.
As the days that my parent’s pool remains open is dwindling, my hubby is happy that football is on (I could care less about football!)
Goals for September:
Walk 8k steps most days.
Stop screwing around about weightlifting. I’m in my 40’s and I need to get serious.
Use the elliptical 2-3 times a week. It gives me a great workout.
Make time for something creative 1x a week.
Get my Mac organized.
Date night/date day with hubby 2x a month.
Finish cleaning out the attic.
September is going to be a busy-ish month with us going to New Orleans for Keith’s nieces wedding. I’ve made appointments to have my hair and makeup done that day so I can have 2 less things to worry about that day. Plus, I will be making appointments to have nails done and already got my facial scheduled!
August was… hectic at times. Work is just too damn much some days, one of my husband’s family members has been way too mouthy lately, and some days- just existing is almost too much to ask of me.
Some good things in August:
I read 5 books:
Swan Song by Elin Hilderbrand
The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle
The Shop on Royal Street by Karen White
Like Mother, Like Daughter by Kimberly McCreight
The Book Swap by Tessa Bickers
Lots of swimming time.
2 mani and pedi days.
Spending time with my nieces.
What did you love about August? What are you looking forward to in September?
Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,
T @ Traveling With T
