Hello, July!

Hello, July! It’s a 100 & something degrees today and the humidity is HIGH as all get out. We are def in the season of the hair is what it is and you best watch how you speak to me in this heat (lol!)

I’ve been walking more in the last month and feeling better. I just feel better when I get outside and walk, even if I do turn in this sweaty, hot mess of a person.

I have a vacation with hubby that I am SO looking forward to going on and yes, I’ll be searching the Alabama Coastline for the best Bushwhackers out there.

I am still moving stuff from my parent’s house to my house and trying to get my house organized, but time wise I have hit some major bumps because there are things I want to do that I can’t do in this heat (looking at you upstairs and attic)

Some goals for July:

1. Walk most days. I would like to walk in the mornings before work and then walk most afternoons sometime after I get home. I want to get back in the routine.

2. Start back on elliptical trainer 2-3 times a week. It’s killer, but it’s good for me.

3. I’m over 40 and I need to quit flirting with weights and start lifting them for real.

4. Read 2 books/month.

5. Do something creative 1 night a week ( DiamondArt and listen to an audiobook sounds good!)

6. Get my Iphone photos backed up to a flash drive

7. Start clearing out photos on my phone that I have duplicates of, blurry, etc.

8. Pick out some paint colors so I can get the house painted (hopefully in the fall)

Looking back at June:

I closed my rings 7 times. Not good, not bad. Progress over perfection. I would like to at least double that this month.

I read 5 books. 1 audio, 2 from library, and 2 review copies.

I walked 7-10k steps several times in June.

I continued my monthly facial plan ( love how my skin feels for days after a facial)

*What are your plans/goals for July?*

Happy Reading and Bookishly Yours,
