1. What are you currently reading?
The Rook by Daniel O’Malley (not loving it so far, but not HATING it either) and Murder of the Cat’s Meow by Denise Swanson (a cozy- predictable generally, but light and easy reading).
2. What did you recently finish reading?
Labor Day weekend was all about some books: 1. Guilty Wives by James Patterson, 2. The Postcard Killers by James Patterson, 3.Back at Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber, 4. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn, and 5. Wallflower in Bloom by Claire Cook.
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
I think I’m going for some light cozy reading for my next few books: Death in Four Courses by Lucy Burdette and A Brew to a Kill by Cleo Coyle are the 2 newest books I’ve ordered and want to enjoy them soon.
Traveling With T 
I’ve got The Rook in my TBR. And I’m currently reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn!
I’m just not loving The Rook. But I’m only 60 pages into it- so we’ll see. However, Dark Places- loved it. But after reading a Gillian Flynn book- I have to read some light stuff as well b/c while I love GF-her work can be dark and twisted
Oh, I like this!
1. Currently reading– The Stormchasers by Jenna Blum. Just started, but it’s very good so far.
2. Just finished reading Murder Mysteries by Neil Gaiman. It’s a graphic novel that my husband loved and thought I’d enjoy, and it was beautifully written. A lot of the images and questions posed still linger.
3. Next, I’m excited to read Ann Patchett’s State of Wonder. I’ll aslo be reading the Meryl Streep Club (as part of the She Reads blogger network, which I’m also a part of!)

I look forward to reading your review of “Meryl”- I reviewed the book already because I borrowed it from a friend this summer- and that was a good thing- because I have not received a copy of “Meryl” from the publisher 😦 I hope mine comes in the mail soon- how long ago did you get your copy? I did receive the other 2 books (Wallflower in Bloom and The Guest Book- WIB is really great, I think. TGB I hope to read next week while on vacation!)
I have Ann Patchett’s State of Wonder- although I have not read it yet. Let me know your thoughts on the book.
