Bitter Harvest

Summary: Megan Sawyer should be shouting from the barn roof. Washington Acres survived its first year, the cafe has become a hot spot for locals, and Winsome’s sexy Scottish veterinarian is making house calls-and not just for the animals! But as summer slips into fall and Winsome prepares for its grand Oktoberfest celebration, beer isn’t the only thing brewing. When the town pub’s owner is killed in a freak accident, Megan suspects something sinister is afoot in Winsome, but no one is listening. After reading A Muddied Murder earlier, I basically dove right into Bitter Harvest to see what is up with Megan and gang in Book 2.

I’ve never been to an Oktoberfest, but how Wendy Tyson described it- sounds like fun. Except.. you know for the murder that happened…

 

What I like:

Cover. Giving me alllllllllllllllllllllllll the fall feels!

The pacing of the romance between Megan and the vet- it’s not moving toooooooo fast or tooooooo slow. It’s taking it’s time 🙂

Hearing more about Megan’s aunt. There are stories we know and stories to come!!!

 

Bottom line: While the book may be called Bitter Harvest- Wendy Tyson has written a book that is anything but bitter!
